• To help you book an appointment, or to otherwise make use of our services

• Respond to queries that you have made via the contact method that you have chosen, for example if you have contacted us via Email we will use your email address to respond. Similarly if you have contacted us via WhatsApp, we will respond to the number associated with your WhatsApp account.
• Get in touch when appropriate to confirm the provision of mutually agreed services. For example, we may reach out to confirm if an appointment time works for both you and us in the event that we are unable to mutually confirm a time slot. Another example would be to confirm that your pet is available for pickup if you are running late. In these cases we will use the contact information you have provided to ensure that we are able to provide our services.

We may share this information with persons who are assisting the business, for the purposes of helping the overall business. For example if you have contacted us via email during a period wherein our email address is having issues we may temporarily access stored contact addresses to verify if emails are missing or not being sent out to you.

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored. 

• We keep provided contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers for up to 12 months. We will then dispose of your information by removing all traces from our email server and/or business phone (for example by deleting the chat history and contact number from WhatsApp).
• Similarly we will keep any relevant information about your pet for the purposes of the provision of services for 12 months. If we do not hear from you after that period of time has passed, we will remove any data we have gathered such as pictures of the pet, or notes about specific care instructions or requests. If this data is stored digitally we will delete all copies from our equipment and server. If this data is stored physically, such as in the form of written notes, we will shred these materials and then dispose of them.
• If you have agreed to share information with us in a mutually agreed public manner such as for the purposes of a testimonial, or the provision of photos of your pet to be shared on our Instagram feed, then we will keep this data unless you request otherwise. You are free to request that we remove this content at any time and for any reason. It will only be publicly displayed on the basis of your voluntary agreement which may be revoked at any time.
